The heart of all EcoVision™ components is a programmable controller incorporating an in home colour touchscreen interface. The controller receives input from meters, sensors, timers and other detectors and can be set up to manage the operation of resource consuming equipment.  The touchscreen is mounted in a prominent place within the home where real time resource consumption can be continually monitored by the householder.

EcoVision 2000 Series

The EcoVision 2000 Series provides home occupants with realtime feedback on electricity, potable water, recycled water and gas consumption as well as energy generated by rooftop photovoltaic systems. The EcoVision™monitoring system breaks total electricity consumption down into lighting, general power and water pumping energy use. This enables users to identify the best opportunities for savings and also provides a very convenient means of assessing appliance perfomance. Energy consumption/generation data is processed to provide an indication of net energy use/production (refer bar on far right of screen below) on an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis and can also be displayed as greenhouse gas emissions/savings. This means that occupants can assess mean CO2 emissions/savings per month. Long term usage patterns can be assessed via the EcoVision™ web interface where up to three years of data is stored.
